Aetheria went quiet after a 2021 pitch push (per Why Aetheria Went Quiet),
not in 2026. Cut or softened claims with no source in the repo; shrink
aquasynth and odin-gjallar avatars to 256px (438K/458K -> 35K/47K).

Rewrite the front door around what is true today: eight resident Minds on
Yggdrasil, the forge as canonical home, open source by default with the
private exceptions named, and a live/planned table. Thing is planned, Eve is
deprecated, VoidBot is retired.
Projects: the Void card no longer presents VoidBot as live. Avatar hotlinks to
raw.githubusercontent.com (several into the retired VoidBot repo) are copied
to static/avatars so a repo rename cannot break them.

VoidBot retired 2026-10-22; organs went to Huginn, Idunn, Bifrost and
Eureka's body. Page now states the live truth, with unlanded duties and
the planned Huginn prose index marked as not live.

The Pitch and tour pages embed this figure and now name the system Thing;
the earlier pass's case-sensitive grep missed the upper-case label.

The Projects card is Thing without a Persona and lists the six Thing 1 renderer
repos as archived under their Eve names; Thing 2.0 is described as under
construction. AetheriaEve links to AetheriaThing, archived. Eve and CultUI in
the atlas, docs, pitch, tour, stichting and two pitch figures become Thing and
Thing Script. Dated posts and the generated compound surface are unchanged.

Operator ruling site-masthead:ruling:essay-math-display-and-scroll. Soul s1:
three promises hold; fitting-math-unchanged overclaimed (hidden 3-6px vertical
overflow on constructs no live page uses). Follow-ups recorded for math outside
paragraphs and for screen-reader access to math.

Operator ruling: "Docs and dossier can go to the footer, the rest stay unlinked".
/tour, /Pitch, /Graph and /democratizing-gamedev stay URL-only.

The masthead, article and footer now share the column's edges on every page;
/Thing's frame reads the token.

One unconditional grid rule replaces the :empty/:has grid and the per-slug
overrides; the engine's empty side divs are hidden.

No content set compositeSections, so the branch never rendered; the
.gamecult-composite-overview hider matched zero children on the built /tour.

body declares --gamecult-wash: 0.5 and body[data-slug="index"] sets it to 1.
The three body radials and the three ritual-essay radials keep their literal
alphas, multiplied by the token, so the home ground is unchanged and every
other page is half. The brand note shows the calc form and names the token.

repo-doc-tree.js builds these at runtime inside the Sai card, so the rules were
live, not dead. The pitch keeps its amber as a 2px left rule; each repo row
takes a 1px top rule at --gamecult-rule. No fill, border box or radius on
either.

The hit size becomes --gamecult-hit on the community row, read by the ::after
hit box and by gap: max(0.35em, calc(var(--gamecult-hit) + 1px - 0.92em)).
At desktop title sizes the em gap wins unchanged; at 1.9rem the gap grows so
centres sit 45px apart.

Map revision 4 against 535d170 for ruling operator-chromeless-column: the
sidebars go site-wide, the masthead aligns to one column token, the wash dims
off the home page through one intensity token, the composite branch is
deleted. Cut specs: wash-home-only, composite-delete, sidebars-gone,
column-align, plus community-hit-gap and doc-tree-flat for Soul's two
findings. Target r3 proposal: one-column and wash-home-only invariants.

Blog intro and post cards lose border, radius, fill, shadow and the hover
fill; each post and each listing row carries border-top var(--gamecult-rule).
TOC, backlinks and the overview sidebar are left for their own removal cut
(ruling operator-chromeless-column).

Each class was proven absent from content, components, scripts and a local build
before deletion. The composite shell rules stay: GameCultCompositeContent.tsx
still names them.

The article card on every page, the ritual/Thing/tour declarations that only
undid it, the home hero's radial, the hero panel and feature card in the
shared card selector, the studio feature-card override, and the evidence
note's background fill go first. The media card and embed frame keep the
shared card rule.

The title size is one custom property on .gamecult-titlebar; $mobile overrides
only that property. Boxes are the title's line box (0.92em), icon glyphs 0.62em,
the Patreon wordmark 0.34em tall.

deck-page-edges (thing): the Thing header and footer take one frame
variable equal to .page's outer width, the footer neuters the engine's
min-width, and the ticker band and confidentiality line move into the
stage's flow under a min-height stage so they cannot lie over the hero.
ritual-phone-width (site-masthead): the ritual essays' .center rule is
deleted; its 1120px cap was dead on desktop and made the column
shrink-to-fit the cover's code blocks on phones, pushing the nav off
screen. Re-measured live: the h1 was not the cause.
