Each class was proven absent from content, components, scripts and a local build
before deletion. The composite shell rules stay: GameCultCompositeContent.tsx
still names them.

The article card on every page, the ritual/Thing/tour declarations that only
undid it, the home hero's radial, the hero panel and feature card in the
shared card selector, the studio feature-card override, and the evidence
note's background fill go first. The media card and embed frame keep the
shared card rule.

The title size is one custom property on .gamecult-titlebar; $mobile overrides
only that property. Boxes are the title's line box (0.92em), icon glyphs 0.62em,
the Patreon wordmark 0.34em tall.

deck-page-edges (thing): the Thing header and footer take one frame
variable equal to .page's outer width, the footer neuters the engine's
min-width, and the ticker band and confidentiality line move into the
stage's flow under a min-height stage so they cannot lie over the hero.
ritual-phone-width (site-masthead): the ritual essays' .center rule is
deleted; its 1120px cap was dead on desktop and made the column
shrink-to-fit the cover's code blocks on phones, pushing the nav off
screen. Re-measured live: the h1 was not the cause.

Ubuntu 500 at 0.92rem in --darkgray; hover, focus-visible and the active
route take --secondary and nothing else. The link row's gap is Delvehold's
0.4rem 1.2rem.

The header card (border, 22px radius, navy gradient, shadow) and its mobile
padding go; the header rule keeps only what beats the engine's: display
block and its own margin. The .gamecult-nav-chip rules go whole, and the
masthead and composite-jump anchors become gamecult-nav-link; the active
route also carries aria-current="page".

offsetHeight leaves out the 2.4rem/1.3rem margin above the masthead, so on
a phone the hero's eyebrow started 20px inside the header box. The stage
now pads its top by the masthead's full footprint above the stage.

.center becomes a two-row grid on the Thing page with the masthead stacked
over the article (z-index 5) in the same cell. deck.js measures the masthead
into --masthead-h, and the stage pads its top by that amount, so masthead
plus hero fill one screen. The masthead and the site footer both read
--thing-inset, which is set per breakpoint to equal the gutters on other pages.

.xhead now sets align-items stretch and margin-top 0 itself, and h1 inherits
its font size, so the engine's global header and h1 rules decide nothing
inside the deck. Resolves engine-header-leak.

GameCult/Thing.md carries the deck's markup in one .thing-deck block and
links its stylesheet and script. The layout skips title, breadcrumbs,
meta, backlinks and the overview sidebar on it, and a slug-scoped block
drops the page width cap and the article card.

The deck's styles move to static/thing/deck.css scoped under .thing-deck,
with guards against base.scss rules that reach into article content. Its
script moves to static/thing/deck.js with the root set to the deck element.
The applet becomes a redirect stub; the post's embed and its 85vh rule go.

The quadrant stamp starts at 3.4x scale and pushed the document 44px
wider at 1280 and to 517px at 375. Sections clip horizontally at the
viewport edge, which hides nothing visible and keeps sticky layers.

The hero is one screen; the load-time slam, shake, rings, burst, flash
and ticker are unchanged.

Both repositories were deleted from GitHub. The Projects archaeology table
keeps their rows as history without links, and the repo documentation tree
drops their entries and shard.

The project page keeps its history but drops the GitHub button, and the
Instruments Arrive post keeps the engine/client split commit id as text.

The standalone CultLib runtime forks and the two defunct EpiphanyAquarium
repositories are being deleted, and CultCacheTS and CultNetTS already
return 404. The Projects archaeology table keeps their rows as history
without links, the Common Tongue post keeps its commit ids as plain text,
and the repo documentation tree drops their seven entries and shards.

viewer.html has no referrer anywhere in the estate, and assets/elk.js is zero
bytes and imported by nothing. viewer.js, viewer.css and react.js stay: the
live gamecult.org Graph page mounts GameCultGraphSpaShell, whose default asset
paths are /static/epiphany-graph/assets/viewer.{css,js}, and the Pages
workflow serves these checked-in files. An earlier draft of this cut deleted
them too; Soul review caught it.

The identity is defined in site/quartz.config.ts and custom.scss. This note
explains what those files mean rather than restating them: that Quartz's
`light` token is the background and `dark` is the text, that lightMode and
darkMode are byte-identical so the dark identity is a decision rather than an
oversight, that the ground is a three-radial wash and not a flat fill, and
that the Georgia-serif Ritual Paper treatment is a slug-scoped page variant
rather than a second brand.
Explicitly subordinate to the code: if the note and the source disagree, the
source wins. Also records that the brand defines no semantic status colours,
so anything needing them is inventing them.

Claude Code reads CLAUDE.md, not AGENTS.md, so this repo's doctrine was
invisible to it. This one-line import makes the existing AGENTS.md load
without duplicating or renaming it. Codex is unaffected.
