The engine crate carries the spec's nouns as typed state (dimensions, materials, sources, lots, recipes, facilities, discovery, knowledge, shipments, markets, carrier and producer policies), validate_catalog as the generation plan's first gate, and the pipeline fixture as a test-only constructor proven to be a well-formed state document. The shell is a binary that refuses to run until there is something to drive. Spec, map, and doctrine included. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com> |

Njörðr
The GameCult economy daemon. One economy for Aetheria and Delvehold, in which every item is the product of a supply chain, materials fill roles at different trade-offs, prices are a pure function of committed state, and the economy both produces from player choices and reacts to them.
Njörðr is two things. The engine (crates/njordr-engine) is a pure,
deterministic step function over a state document and a stream of typed
events; it does no I/O and is embedded in the Aetheria client for
single-player. The shell (crates/njordr) is the daemon around it: store,
discovery, ports, lifecycle.
The specification is docs/architecture/njordr.md.
The map and next action are in state/map.yaml.
