Brainstorming
The brainstorming branch holds provisional notes, pressure tests, and integration candidates that are not yet treated as settled canon. It exists so new material can accumulate without being mistaken for already-integrated setting facts, while still staying close to the institutional and material questions that will decide whether a concept belongs in the setting at all.
At the moment, the cluster leans heavily toward thermodynamics, stealth, and thermal logistics because those subjects cut directly into warfare, transport, industrial discipline, and what kinds of infrastructure can remain hidden in a setting where heat is rarely free.
These notes are not detached from the rest of the archive. They are a working surface for questions that still need sharper physical limits, stronger institutional consequences, or a more precise connection between speculative mechanism and lived reality.

Move outward from a technical problem to the institutions it would empower. Ask which habitats, fleets, firms, or insurgencies could afford the solution, what maintenance burden it would impose, and which forms of secrecy or dependency it would create.
