# Unprimed Full-Manuscript Cold Read
## Scope
The reader received only [[Full Manuscript]]. They did not read the Revision Council, scene packets, Persona streams, calendars, ledgers, or earlier manuscript.
## Findings
- The relative chronology is reconstructable: Harrowglass presents the historical endpoint; Meridian runs from sophomore selection through the last school day; Palisade begins immediately at dinner and reaches Saint Varo roughly thirty-five hours later.
- The five contemporary characters, five Calyx predecessors, Vey, Rhea, upper cadres, named peers, and AFTER remain distinct. Calyx reads as precedent rather than reincarnation.
- The reverse braid is productively disorienting early and becomes causally legible at first/full Concordance. Exact historical dates remain intentionally secondary to the lived causal order.
- Emotional investment is high in the voluntary household, Omi/Lio/Vey ward history, Iri's bodily authority, Lio's medicine/flight split, Senn/Rhea, and AFTER's learned refusal.
- The full academic year feels inhabited through classes, labs, projects, paid shifts, marks, clinic rules, household recurrence, holidays, finals, placements, and ordinary peers who retain their own work.
- Teenage voice is credible for elite overtrained cadets. Humor, embarrassment, food, crushes, school resentment, and failed emotional speech keep technical fluency from becoming adult omniscience.
- The climax remains clear in strategic and political shape. Tactical density occasionally produces intended cognitive pressure, while stable plant anchors and worker-owned terms preserve orientation.
- The ending is satisfying and provisional: workers refuse rescue ownership, Morrow refuses entry and provides aid, Saint Varo admits six separate claims, and AFTER initiates peer contact.
## Reader Risks
- Early Calyx episodes may initially be mistaken for a separate story. A small era cue was added beneath Mara's opening POV without supplying later identity answers.
- The middle movement contains many complete institutional pressure-cooker chapters. Future compression should be considered only if a second reader reports fatigue; the current school recurrence is doing essential character and political work.
- Dense Palisade action sometimes privileges ethical and operational clarity over exact tactical visualization. No outcome or authority boundary became illegible.
## Verdict
No fatal character, timeline, braid, climax, or ending problem was found. The manuscript is suitable for promotion after mechanical assembly and EPUB checks.

# Phase 5 Report
## Outcome
Revision 01 is promoted.
- [[Full Manuscript]] is the accepted sixty-nine-chapter source.
- [[Cold Reader Report]] records the unprimed manuscript-only read.
- [[Promotion Audit]] records the final structural, continuity, hash, and EPUB receipts.
- `Aetheria/Fiction/The Body That Asks.md` is byte-identical to the accepted source.
- `Aetheria/static/fiction/the-body-that-asks.epub` was rebuilt and validated from the promoted manuscript.
## Final Shape
- 66,588 words
- three movements
- sixty-nine chapters
- sixty-nine explicit POV labels
- ten adjacent Calyx/Meridian comparison pairs
- one full sophomore year followed by the immediate Palisade/Necro crisis and materially elapsed aftermath
## Authority
The promoted Fiction manuscript now governs. Phase 4 movement drafts remain reconstructable source chambers; Phase 3 transactions and Persona streams remain the causal evidence for future revision. The prior twenty-eight-chapter manuscript remains in repository history and the completed original Foundry passes rather than retaining publication authority.

# Revision 01 Promotion Audit
## Candidate
- **Source:** [[Full Manuscript]]
- **Length:** 66,588 words by repository shell count
- **Structure:** three movements, sixty-nine chapters, sixty-nine explicit POV labels
- **Assembly:** exact concatenation of the three accepted Phase 4 movement files, with Movement II/III heading levels normalized to the publication scheme
## Passed Gates
- Final structural, voice/theme, and Foundry continuity reviews report no blocker.
- Unprimed full-manuscript reader reports no fatal continuity, braid, climax, or ending problem.
- Chapters are unique and continuous from 1 through 69.
- Ten Calyx/Meridian pairs remain adjacent in the accepted order.
- Accepted names, pronouns, ward asymmetry, support ownership, and one continuous AFTER history remain intact.
- Chapter 56 contains the destination order; Chapter 57 owns Palisade's operational map and clean brief.
- Protected no-slogan, anti-reincarnation, Necro, Vey, worker-route, refusal, Morrow, and six-entry ending material remains present.
- The assembled file exactly matches the reviewed movement sources after deterministic heading normalization.
## Promotion Rule
`Aetheria/Fiction/The Body That Asks.md` is replaced byte-for-byte with this candidate. The EPUB is then rebuilt only from the promoted manuscript and validated for title, sixty-nine chapters, navigation, spine, and packaged content.
## Promotion Receipts
- Promoted manuscript SHA-256: `6c53fe0794812bdce87a3331331bbaa2eb4f07fe81db1a853e618a4da6dd65f3`

- EPUB builder validation: title and sixty-nine-chapter package passed in build and `--check` modes.

Complete — promoted after Phase 5 whole-book integration and publication verification.
Phase 0 is recorded in [[Phase 00/Pass Report|the baseline report]].
Seven independent diagnoses are preserved under `Phase 01/`. The accepted architecture is recorded in [[Phase 02/Pass Report|Phase 2 Synthesis]].
Subject proposals remain under `Phase 02A/`; coordinator rulings and the accepted chapter map are in [[Phase 02B/Pass Report|Phase 2B]].
Accepted scene transactions, replay authority, support continuity, and twelve materialized Persona streams are recorded in [[Phase 03/Pass Report|Phase 3]].
The complete sixty-nine-chapter candidate prose is recorded in [[Phase 04/Pass Report|Phase 4]].
The assembled manuscript, cold-reader report, promotion audit, and publication receipts are recorded in [[Phase 05/Pass Report|Phase 5]].
The canonical Fiction manuscript remains the published baseline while revision proceeds. Candidate architecture and prose in this folder have no authority over it until coordinator promotion.
The canonical Fiction manuscript is the promoted Revision 01 text. Revision-room artifacts retain evidence and replay authority within their named layers.

## Accepted Outputs

- Phase 2B adjudicated proposals and accepted a sixty-nine-chapter explicit-POV transaction blueprint.
- Phase 3 accepted sixty-nine scene transactions, the exact ten-pair POV braid, named ordinary-school continuity, a lived-order Calyx replay, and twelve gapless Persona streams on `revision-01-main`.
- Phase 4 produced and reviewed sixty-nine chapters of candidate prose across three movements. Final blocker checks found the candidate structurally and narratively ready for whole-book integration.
- Phase 5 must assemble the complete candidate, verify cross-movement prose and terminology, and promote only after manuscript-level review. Changes to POV, chronology, ancestry, mystery timing, academic ownership, or protected material return to Phase 3 replay before descendants continue.
- Candidate revision prose remains noncanonical; the promoted Fiction manuscript governs until final integration and promotion.
- Phase 5 assembled the candidate, passed unprimed manuscript review and final continuity checks, promoted the Fiction manuscript, and rebuilt and validated the sixty-nine-chapter EPUB.
- Revision 01 is complete. Future changes to POV, chronology, ancestry, mystery timing, academic ownership, or protected material return to Phase 3 replay before descendants continue.
