Road runs 8 to 12 went through the sidecar. The smoke that drove them
was deleted in the play agent's Cut 1.

Cut 1 (d69e9d4) deleted the tick driver and the Active elaboration sweep, and
the ignored live smoke that exercised them. These passages still described
that machine as live:
- notes/local-live-smoke.md was a runbook for the deleted smoke and its
command now runs zero tests. Trimmed to what is still true: connector and
Claude SDK sidecar bring-up, which the seed lane still depends on. Fixed
the references to its deleted sections in notes/fresh-workspace-handoff.md.
- docs/architecture/ghostlight-dungeon-mvp.md's Verification contract named
the live smoke as the road's one proof point; it now says none exists until
the play agent's own gate.
- notes/ghostlight-implementation-plan.md's Interruption section named
ControllerHttpResult::Interrupted and run_cover_tick as live; both are
deleted, and reporting an interruption to the play agent is Cut 8's.
- docs/architecture/ghostlight-stock-lenses.md gets one added sentence: the
concurrent-elaboration claim holds as a library capability, and Dungeon
runs none of it since Cut 1. The verdict is unchanged.
- notes/fresh-workspace-handoff.md's concurrent-elaboration and
tick-driver lines now say what Dungeon actually runs today.

The map, handoff, plan and Session Zero doc now name plan step 16, the play
agent, as the playtest gate. L2-L4, D1-D3 and the L1 follow-ups are
recorded as deferred by ruling, not dropped.
A source check corrected the map. Inference routes per lane by model name
to the SDK sidecar or CodexConnector, and no local transport exists. The
sidecar is a private msgpack pipe behind InferencePort, not the CultNet
connector API the map claimed every backend shares.
The handoff's session_zero.begin item is retired: the name is refused, and
only tests reference it. One evidence record covers the pivot.

Plan step 15 records L1 as landed at 835ea4d..872ba35 with its cut map, and
its heading names L2 next. Step 6 calls the elaborator's flavor a lens.
The handoff and state/map.yaml name the live schemas, consumer.v5 and
controller_work.v16, and world_create.v4 in the handoff; both say L1 is
implemented and what it gave the machine, and the handoff names L2 next.

The fix batch landed at afca403 and acb9b33: identical lens weights are
refused as no canonical change, and the forged all-zero row is now caught
only by the draw rule. Soul's second pass found that the no-op check
compares map spelling, so a set padded with a zero entry still commits.
That fix is folded into Cut 3, next to the divisor guard.
The Cut 2 spec's claim that identical weights commit is now marked as
history. The implementation plan names a NoEffect variant that the kernel
never had; it now describes the NoCanonicalChange refusal that exists.
Operator rulings: the browser create form (L1.f11) is fixed in Dungeon
pass D2. Draft approvals (L1.f12) are deferred until multi-player
membership returns, and lens weights are excluded from any future binding
because they do not affect what an approver sees.

The closing Mind pass found four places still describing the tree as it
was before the extraction:
- the handoff's controllers path;
- plan step 15's heading, which said not started;
- plan D1, which still said "detail profile";
- the system map's source owner and schema name, and its private
world::WorldKernel.
Each now names the ghostlight crate and its sealed-by-admission boundary.
The boundary evidence record's first decision said the kernel's only
Dungeon import was a type that has since moved; it now points at the L0
record. The previous text is archived by compaction.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The kernel extraction is finished. The world kernel is the ghostlight
library crate; Dungeon consumes it across a boundary sealed by admission,
proven from outside the crate.
The cut map records the last two fix batches and Q1-10, defaulted: the
minter scanner stays a tripwire, with Clippy recorded as the fix. The
subtraction ledger missed its estimate, +210 net source lines against about
+65. The reasons: the scanner grew chasing evasions, the boundary needed
about 90 more public items than planned, and the rejection tests buy a
ruling made after the estimate.
The postmortem lists what Soul caught, the operator corrections, the
incidents, and the open follow-ups. The target states which invariants
hold and how. The plan, map.yaml and the handoff point at L1. The L0
evidence record is rewritten as its distilled lessons; the previous text is
archived.

A detail rule is a function from place to detail level. Each consumer
chooses its own level-of-detail rule. Dungeon uses ByDistance anchored on
important subjects, the player first. Delvehold starts from Uniform.
Rules are typed world data that the library evaluates, not consumer code.
The deficit a rule produces is an admission input, and journal replay
re-runs reduce, so a changed consumer function would break committed
history. WorldScaleIntent per-kind targets remain the ceiling a rule
distributes.
The eight titles move into the library doc as the stock lens set. The
kernel extraction is ordered as plan step 15 pass L0, ahead of every
library pass.

Ghostlight Dungeon is a consumer of the Ghostlight library. Session Zero,
Vault choice, players, sliders and starting locations are Dungeon authority
and do not shape the library.
The ontology doc gains consumer-neutral library targets: elaboration
lenses with weights, focus-weighted demand with a consumer-supplied detail
profile, one evidence source bound per world, and elaborator sessions in
Draft. The Session Zero doc now carries only Dungeon policy that consumes
those capabilities.
The map records the boundary as a hard rule. The plan splits into library
passes L1-L4 and Dungeon passes D1-D3. Two decisions stay open: extracting
the kernel from crates/ghostlight-dungeon, and whether the eight titles ship
as a library stock lens set.

The memory steward found four leftover lines. The plan and the ontology
doc now describe elaborators as lensed sessions, not eight fixed
instances. The handoff no longer says there is no Session Zero. The
ontology doc notes that Session Zero stops declaring the human at the
genesis commons.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The eight titles (Patina, Charter, Ledger, Hearth, Tangle, Veil, Ember,
Numen) were deleted with their titled verifier and quotas, and no operator
decision covered them. The ontology doc and evidence record 6 now say the
tribunal was the verifier and the quotas, not the titles. A new correction
record carries the history and the 2026-09-15 direction.
Session Zero is the player's path through a world's Draft phase. The player
chooses a Vault, describes the experience, and sets title weights. The seed
lane sketches the world and the player chooses a start. A swarm then draws a
title by weight for each session and elaborates by travel distance from the
player, before and after activation. It is plan step 15, and its fifth pass
closes the playtest gate.

The Interpreter was citing correctly and the fold was discarding: an
utterance split by narration lost its second half and a turn's second
visible act became an ambiguity gap. Every span cited for a kind now joins
that kind's one statement in prose order; only an overlapping span is an
ambiguity. NarrativeCapture carries the spans, the invocation still carries
one utterance and one display. controller_work.v15.

Runbook row 10 and the interrupted-cell section; plan step 14 landed;
evidence record; map, handoff, and scratch reconciled (schemas v4/v14,
thirteen components, next action is the per-cell interrupted log line).
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
A visible act becomes Seen { by } knowledge on the co-located, kernel-lowered
from the invocation beside speech, quoted by the Interpreter as the visible
clause alone. Intent stays private. Authority map, cut line, budgets,
verification, and the three operator decisions are in the plan; map,
handoff, and scratch point at it. Not built.

world_create.v3 carries a required brief, trimmed at ingress, stored on the
state and its snapshot, and projected as the guidance of the Projector,
Persona, Interpreter, operational, and grouped lanes and both authoring
prompts. The two narrative stages that rebuild prompts on resume carry it
(controller_work.v13). The smoke titles its world by the seed root label and
hands its brief to the world rather than to each seed session, so a vow can
no longer name a test fixture.

Plan step 12. PersonaMaterial is the ontology's thirteenth row, built:
values, voice, memories, and reads keyed by subject, set whole by
set_persona_material, refused for padded text or a doubled read, no-op when
identical, outside every scope digest. A commitment carries a statement of
what is promised, required at authoring; an affordance-made promise states
the action it came through. The Projector context carries material by label,
each promise's statement, and who else stands in the same place; the
Persona's identity is label, voice, and values. Schemas move to consumer.v3.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The membrane traced end to end: the Projector's borrowed voice, the
contentless commitment, the unbuilt PersonaMaterial, and the missing
co-presence are recorded as findings; the harness no longer claims to fail
on silence, which is now the honest baseline. The map and handoff point at
the decision the operator owns.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The Interpreter's speak and record_gap tools took byte offsets the model
counted itself; on the Claude lane three of eight utterances came through
cut mid-word and one empty span reached invocation as a non-canonical
utterance and quarantined its cell. Both tools now take `source_quote`; the
harness locates the quote in the preserved prose and derives the span. A
quote not in the prose, empty, or padded is a translation gap at capture.
The invariant is unchanged: only words in the prose become speech.

The first SDK-backed seeded runs. Run 1 refused both seed sessions: the
sidecar's schema conversion dropped every field description, `due` was an
undescribed integer against a clock the model never saw, and the subject
tool did not say a grant is required. Run 2 seeded six people in one round
and ticked three times.
A refusal used to reopen the session with an empty draft and a prompt that
named sites from a draft the model could no longer see. It now continues
the same conversation: `Refusal { after_round, mismatches }` on both
authoring checkpoints (controller_work.v12), the refusal as the next user
turn, and the draft rebuilt by one DraftFold shared by evaluator and oracle
from the calls after it. The harness takes the connector only when its
address is set, so an all-claude run needs none.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Two transports behind one port, routed per lane by model prefix; the
sidecar as a child process; the oracle as the evaluator's own fold; the
stopgap's liabilities named with its exit condition; the operator's
credential steps in the smoke runbook.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
One speakerless event over a place subtree: recipients derived at apply
time by the one reach owner, already-holders untouched, an empty subtree
refused at both layers, confinement through the operation's place, an
affordance slot so a world can author a beacon or a blast. Schemas at
consumer.v2; the operation count aligned to the catalog's pinned count.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The narrative lane re-lowers once on a moved scope with the delta the
subject could perceive; the kernel is the sole detector for that lane;
an author is named only for speech actually heard; a turn is lowered at
most twice by the shape of its binding; SubjectSnapshot carries the
subject's whole components; schemas controller_work.v11 and
persona_turn_receipt.v3. Plan step 9 landed with its undone list.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Docs describe the seed lane as landed: scale intent at creation, the
phase-free qualification with the Draft refusal in one owner, the owner
port bound to the Draft revision, the Vault reader's containment and
caps, obligations as the source of boundaries, evidence lifetime at
ingress. The session-zero and compiler language leaves the eve-native,
multiplayer, Delvehold, and mvp docs; plan step 8 is landed; the smoke
note's run block targets Kalsa Public at Low Sere. Steward folded the
boundary and cut the stale drift warning.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The plan carries the objective, current mechanism, and cut line; the
map's mission, boundaries, and subgoals speak the live admission
vocabulary; the session-zero document is teardown evidence; the draft
answer variant is marked representable but uninhabited. Steward folded
the task opening into the handoff and map.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The consumer-api doc is the live contract for the landed ingress; the
ontology's Current mechanism runs through pass 10 and its follow-ups;
the mvp doc names the live authority answer; the plan's step 6 is
complete with the outbound consumer response as the next seam; the map
and handoff carry the series-complete state, the world-v3 generation,
and the decisions the operator owns; one evidence record distils the
ten passes.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Current mechanism describes the budgeted connected cover, the tick
driver as the single clock owner, and the grouped-cell membrane rule;
the scale section carries the ceil(N/R) bound, the two reasons the cap
yields, and the contention finding with its open operator decision; the
two stale claims about AdmitPatch phase and EvidenceRef are corrected;
the consumer-api drift note names the decided transport; controller
model variables are documented. Steward folded passes 1 through 9 and
the pass 10 design state.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Current mechanism now describes passes 1 through 4; plan invariant 10
follows the scope-digest rule; steward folded the pipeline state into
the handoff and map. Emergency compaction scratch deleted.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Handoff, map hard boundaries and scale checkpoint, and plan invariant 8 now
all state both truths: structural validity never waits on a count, and the
seed's WorldScaleIntent with its cover-budget choke is the operator's design
the elaborators pursue. The handoff carries the dated operator directive so a
future session cannot re-cut it as fixture noise.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The operator's design is detail first, then a ten-percent choke: generate
goal-bearing actors at every level, then budget cells so attention is scarce
and selection is forced. The mvp doc's teardown-era sentence calling the
2,400-subject profile "test data, not a production elaboration target"
contradicted that and is amended. The ontology now carries an authored
WorldScaleIntent with a structurally counted deficit that elaborators pursue
after boundaries, a budgeted connected cover every tick with singleton detail
cells and grouped coarse cells, partitioned views and per-constituent
attribution in groups, and debt rotation. Gestalt as canonical identity,
arena knowledge union, and semantic qualification stay deleted. Plan step six
is nine passes; two proofs added; evidence records the correction.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The steward found stale-means-discard still asserted as the opportunity rule
in map.yaml live_architecture and plan invariant 11. Both now state
scope-digest binding as the adopted rule and name foundation.v0 as still
revision-bound until plan step 6 pass 2. Handoff and next_action carry the
v2 shape and the live worker witnesses.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Ontology v2. Affordances become world-authored data over a closed
twenty-nine-operation kernel set: preconditions read the actor's own typed
components, effect slots bound what an invocation may propose, and kernel
entropy selects the outcome band so no model ever decides success. That
deletes the legacy wave-level outcome resolver along with the reconciler.
Proposals bind to the scope digest of the components their verification
reads instead of the whole state digest, so eight elaborator loops and many
subjects stop serializing on one revision. Elaborator tools are a projection
of the operation set and cannot drift from the reducer.
Demotes the multiresolution agency doc to teardown evidence, keeping only
resumable sessions, compact drafts, and the complete mismatch set. Plan step
six now lists eight passes with the affordance pipeline fourth.

Run 115 died on a dangling reference, and the vocabulary is why. Legacy
transition.rs took caller-supplied SubjectRef{kind,id:String}, admitted
entities in two phases, and permitted mutations one at a time in a flat
batch, so a plausible-looking id was indistinguishable from a referent until
reduction. Reconciliation existed to repair that class and exhausted after
four steps. Depth lived in free strings, so the previous attempt to fix
shallowness grew model tribunals instead of structure.
The closed vocabulary: reducer-issued typed ID namespaces, draft-handle
references resolved inside one closed WorldPatch before any ID allocates,
twelve components that each constrain a decision, four derived CausalBoundary
kinds, and one AdmitPatch command shared by seed admission and boundary
elaboration. Twenty component kinds become twelve, eighteen mutation variants
become one primitive, five qualification and verification types become none,
and waves and quotas become derived boundaries.
Demotes the transition algebra doc to teardown evidence and slots the stage
into the implementation plan ahead of the deferred deployment cutover.

Every live CultNet contract citation named `f4ab237`, which is not an ancestor
of CultLib main and survives only on the retiring standalone repo's branch.
They now name CultLib `85f7024`, which is both CultLib's current main head and a
permanent ancestor of it, so the citation survives every future advance --
something a branch SHA in a repo queued for deletion could never do.
Verified rather than assumed. At `85f7024`, packages/cultnet-rs carries
IDUNN_LIFECYCLE_BRAKE_* distinct from IDUNN_DEPLOYMENT_BRAKE_*,
IdunnProcessWriteLeaseRecord, GameCultRuntimeCapability, OdinTopologyDisagreement
with disagreements() and into_undisputed_present separating presence from
readiness, a generation-bound IdunnRuntimeActivationRecord with its own
activation-proof signing purpose, and IdunnExpectedRoute refusing non-rudp://
endpoints for RUDP routes. All six cited contracts hold.
Two of the eight citations were instructions, not descriptions, and a mechanical
swap would have been wrong. map.yaml's next action and the handoff's next gate
both said to advance Odin to CultNet `f4ab237` -- advancing it deeper into the
repo we intend to delete. Both now say to repoint Odin off its vendored CultNet
fork onto CultLib `85f7024`, as Ghostlight did at `d0510ac`.
Evidence records keep their pre-consolidation SHAs. They are dated statements of
what was believed, and the new record is the key for reading them.
This closes the citation half of the cultnet-rs retirement gate. Odin's vendored
CultNet gitlink is now the last reader of that repo.

The system map and implementation plan carried uncommitted prose describing
Idunn's independent bootstrap, the Odin-outage freeze rule, and the nine-phase
durable transaction. That content is good and is landed here.
It cited CultNet `e542225` and Odin `d527d72`, which map.yaml and the handoff had
already advanced past to `f4ab237` and `65cf2b2`. A bare SHA bump would have been
wrong: both successors own strictly more. `f4ab237` adds routed RUDP incarnation
admission, and `65cf2b2` already lands the durable three-record transaction and
admitted-generation engine that this prose still described as the remaining cut,
along with the systemd isolation, Ready-provider selection, and protected
activation delivery it called uncommitted. The claims are corrected, not just
renumbered.
map.yaml carried the same superseded pair on its Idunn foundation line while its
contract line named the successors, so the canonical map disagreed with itself.
Evidence records keep their original revisions. That ledger says what was
believed when it was written, and editing it would falsify the history it exists
to preserve.
