Record the operator's rulings on document variants Q1-Q7
...
Q3 is ids everywhere, minted on load (not opt-in). Q4 is soft drift for
dangling overrides, which supersedes one of the target's refusals. The
others were ruled as recommended.

Place the document variants target and cut map on main

The target (2026-09-17, with the operator's rulings) lived only on
codex/document-variants. The cut map is Imagination's pass of 2026-09-29.
Its operator questions Q1-Q7 are open.
