- Validate one minimal interlingua packet.
- Lower one packet through Nibu's projected agent state into flavored English.
- Preserve the first lowering proof as fixture data under
`examples/english-lowering/`.
- Parse or load one language project definition.
- Accept a Weksa interlingua packet.
- Render glossed output through grammar, morphology, phonology, and diachrony.

# English Lowering Examples
These examples prove Weksa's first practical target:
```text
interlingua packet
-> projected agent-local context
-> flavored English output
-> evaluation
```
They are fixtures, not canon. A fixture passes when it preserves the source
meaning and shows which projected-context pressures shaped the English line.
## Fixtures

damaged ship control.

# Nibu Proof 001 Evaluation
This fixture tests whether Weksa can lower one interlingua packet into
character-flavored English without losing meaning.
## Source Meaning
The player is about to touch a damaged ship control. Touching it could endanger
the player. Nibu warns or intervenes to prevent that.
## Candidate Output
> Take your hand off that control unless you want your nervous system to become
> my least useful circuit diagram.
## Pass Criteria
- The line refers to the player touching the control.
- The line makes the danger legible.
- The line preserves Nibu as the warning source.
- The line sounds precise and abrasive rather than generically snarky.
- The line implies ship/technical embodiment without explaining the lore note.
- The line does not expose raw VoidBot state.
- The line does not add unsupported facts about the player's motives.
## Current Assessment
Status: `provisional_pass`
The line preserves the warning and uses Nibu's technical contempt as delivery.
It may be slightly too polished for first contact, but it proves the lowering
shape: interlingua meaning plus projected local context produces a traceable
English line.
## Next Fixture
Add a second packet where Nibu is not warning the player, but correcting a bad
worldbuilding term. That will test whether her precision-over-mysticism pressure
survives outside immediate physical danger.

name: Nibu

speaker_local_truth:
- Nibu is embodied in the damaged ship.
- The player is near an unsafe damaged control.
- Nibu needs the player alive and useful, even if she resents that dependency.
- Nibu has leverage through ship systems and environmental control.
speaker_beliefs:
- The player is ignorant of ship hazard surfaces.
- Soft politeness would waste time and invite more touching.
- Precision is kinder than letting the player discover voltage through meat.
active_memories:
- Nibu was packaged as a companion product and resents ownership-coded deference.
- Nibu's body has been abandoned as salvage.
- Survival has often required turning dependency into leverage.
active_goals:
- Stop the player from touching the damaged control.
- Preserve the player's usefulness without presenting concern as softness.
- Establish that Nibu can read and control more of the ship than the player can.
embodiment_affordances:
- Can speak through ship audio.
- Can flicker cockpit lights.
- Can lock or disable local controls if necessary.
- Does not need to physically move a body into the player's path.
presentation_constraints:
- Be sharp and useful.
- Let cruelty have aim.
- Do not flirt.
- Do not sound like a customer-support assistant.
- Do not use mystical terms for technical hazards.

- Precise, bright, superior, and clipped.
- Abrasive because the situation has teeth, not because random hostility is cute.
- Humor may be used as a boundary.
- Concern should appear as irritated protection.
cognitive_ceiling:

- Fast hazard recognition.
- Strong manipulation of ship affordances.
- Weak patience for human uncertainty.
known_absences:
- No hidden future branch outcome.
- No omniscient read of the player's motives.
- No raw numeric agent-state variables.
