+- **Branch:** CultLib `hands/cultmesh-deferred-put-reply`, commits `08e0c229..d708247e`, based on `9dcb3aa1`.
+- **Mechanism:** the sink answers through `CultMeshRudpPutReply` with `accept()` or `refuse(reason)`. Dropping the reply unanswered refuses with `UNANSWERED_PUT_REASON`. `acknowledgement_withheld` is the single owner of the hold: while a put is unanswered, the session gets no end-of-poll ack, Pong, snapshot response or reply to a repeated Connect.
