PipelineTarget.repos (additive, `= absent`, epoch stays v2) names the
campaign's whole repo set from that revision on; repos_in_force is the one
owner of cut_spec membership and replaces the direct campaign.repos check;
a revision past the first may not empty the set its predecessor named
(EmptyRepos on the target id). Golden line and regenerated schemas follow
in the next commit (ruling campaign-repo-set-home).

Adds the row (heat 0.05, base cooldown u32::MAX, 85,899,345,900 s) to the
wait test so any ceiling on the wait fails, and gives the ignored host test its
command in a crate README (the lane that kills the host() mutants). Tests and
docs only; builds.

Closes the test gaps of findings cadence-clamp-unpinned and codes-and-agent-unpinned: a floor of 1 s or a ceiling of 80000 s on the wait now fails the cadence test, and the receipt's agent and the printed code of every refusal are compared with the spelling, not with the constant that produced them.

wake::cycle reads the brake and dial through the one derivation behind
read_effective and the unit gate, returns Held before any query, admission or
unit call, finds the newest Persona turn of hers (any status) with one
descending single-row query, and launches through open_and_launch. The
mind-wake binary prints the outcome. control_path no longer echoes the
instance it refuses.
Does not build the public_surface snapshot yet (the next commit updates it).

The writers refuse an out-of-bounds dial, so the DialOutOfBounds reading is
produced through the unchecked store the crate's own tests already use. The
store directory holds a second file besides control.cc, so the no-write test
compares listings rather than counting one.

Exit 0 only when the one derivation reads Released; every other reading
(absent, held, no dial, dial out of bounds, undecodable store) is an error
and exits 2, which systemd's ExecCondition reads as skip. A pure read through
FileSource: no writer, no created file or directory.

stop_args now builds each name through unit(), the one name path start and
alive use, so the stop argv cannot disagree with the units that run (the
:* glob matched none of them on real systemd). A launch test ties stop_args
to what start passes systemctl for several instances; two binary tests run
mind-control brake hold with a fake systemctl first on PATH, so main's
stopper wiring is pinned.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
SystemdLauncher::stop_all runs one synchronous systemctl stop over the
instance's mind-self and mind-persona units (stop_args, built from the same
templates as start and alive). cli::run gains a stop_units parameter that only
brake hold calls, after the write whatever its outcome. The window probe uses
dial set instead of brake hold, since a real hold now runs systemctl.
Builds not yet verified on the stopgap at this commit.

Per ruling mind-launch-forge-scanner-bound: compile_fail doctests for the
struct literal and each derive-provided path on Grant; forbid(unsafe_code) in
the library; the gate property draws the mind's own instance from the same
slug generator as the Grant's and tests pairs; Persona claim shapes are drawn
and rotated by seed; the path-literal and static-keyword scanners are deleted
from the public-surface test, whose limits are written at its top.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The instance gate is checked against names generated from the real one:
every single-character substitution, deletion and insertion, every
transposition and permutation, rotations, prefixes and suffixes, case flips,
NUL and whitespace padding, repetitions, and seeded random names of the same
and other lengths. The Persona refusal is checked at every claim-set size
from one to 300 in four shapes, duplicates included, and for every kind
alone. A compare or bound weaker than equality passes neither.

tests/public_surface.rs reads the library source the way a consumer sees it
and compares every pub item with its signature, pub fields, derives, impl
headers and every path-looking string literal to tests/public_surface.txt.
A new pub static or pub fn under any name, a derive onto Grant, or a root
read from another path fails it. It replaces the three compile_fail
doctests that named with_root, TEST_ROOT and control_root. Dev-dependencies
syn, quote and proc-macro2, already in the graph through serde's derive.

clippy.toml lists the std::env readers (var, var_os, vars, vars_os,
set_var, remove_var, args, args_os, current_exe, temp_dir, home_dir) and
libc::getenv as disallowed methods, and lib.rs forbids allowing them back.
main.rs and the self-spawning integration test carry the only allows.
The forge probe's environment sweep and its 22 guessed variable names go:
the lint covers a variable of any name, so the list was a second, weaker
path for the same rule.

read_effective(instance) reads CONTROL_ROOT/<instance>/control.cc. The root override is a thread-local under cfg(test) inside the crate; the reader tests and the Grant launch tests move in-crate to use it. The operator CLI's show derives its display line from the store it already read. An external forge probe and compile_fail examples pin the rule; the instance gate is pinned with same-length, prefix and extension forgeries, and the Persona refusal with a claim of every kind.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Grant carries the instance whose store was read; read_effective(root, instance)
derives the store path itself and no caller supplies a path or a source. The
launch refuses a Grant of another instance and a Persona request with claims,
both typed refusals that name no input. Launcher drops its dead label: liveness
is keyed by unit (instance, turn). Tests pin Persona step 0, the Operator-run
exclusion, the fiftieth ended run and the same-batch boundary.

The holder RunId is grammar-checked only, so the launch asks the mind for its
in-force Self-run holders and refuses a name the mind does not show as this
instance's own. One reader of the slot serves step 0 and this check. The
admission test compares the refusal's run to the literal run key.

mind-persona@<instance>.service and mind-self@<instance>.service; the run
label no longer enters the unit name, and only the instance is validated.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
open_and_launch takes a Grant by value. Step 0 reads the in-force runs of
hers of the request's turn on the instance (typed facts): a live unit or a
run inside START_GRACE_S answers Busy; a dead one is closed Recorded in the
same admission that opens the next run, so the in-force record is the one
owner of liveness. Admission's AlreadyLive maps to Busy. The alias Busy query
and the whole-mind breaker scan are deleted: the breaker counts the documents
that cite the item, starting after the newest question raised in it, and a
trip's question is keyed by the run label. SystemdLauncher holds no
instance; unit names are validated before systemctl sees them.

The run cap and cadence leave the control reader only inside a Grant with
private fields, so a cap cannot exist without a released brake and an
in-bounds dial. effective() is private; its one caller is read_effective.

AlreadyLive and AlreadyClaimed carry RunId, which parses as a run key on
every door, so a peer cannot fill it with an arbitrary string. The live
check applies only to a run the batch leaves in force. Tests pin a holder
that differs in start, host and budget, a born-closed run, and the second
live Persona turn's admission refusal in mind-body.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Admission now holds one live run of hers per turn, so the budget test that
launched three Persona turns in a row without ending any is refused at the
second. It ends each turn; mind-launch r3 rewrites this test next.
7ef8669 does not pass this test; this commit does.

Adds the turn and operated_by aliases on the run kind, and in mind-body the
Launcher port with SystemdLauncher, the work queue, the repetition breaker and
open_and_launch. Not yet built: this commit may not compile.

Soul s3: the window probe wrote a window-probe-<pid> instance under the real
/etc/gamecult/minds. A leading --root argv flag (argv, because sudo -E carries
the environment) replaces the default root; the probe points the real binary at
a tempdir, whose drop removes whatever a failed assert leaves. No test names
/etc/gamecult any more; the path-derivation test uses CONTROL_ROOT.

Under the binary's umask 077 a first write would have left /etc/gamecult/minds
0700 and unreadable by the units. The attacker reports how much it swept.

Soul s2: under a permissive umask the store was group/world-writable between
CultCache's rename and the chmod, and an fd opened there survived it. The
mind-control binary now sets umask 077 first (the library never touches the
umask). The writer refuses to write through an existing directory, lock or store
that is not root's or is group/world-writable, with the typed UnsafeStore error
naming path, mode and owner. Tests: a non-root open-for-write probe against the
real binary under umask 000; refusals for 0777/0775 directories, 0666/0664
locks and stores, and a non-root-owned directory; accepted root installs.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Soul s1: created under umask 000 the directory was 777 and the files 666, so a
non-root user could write the store. The writer now sets the directory (when it
creates it), the lock file and the store file explicitly, after the setter's own
refusals so a refused write still creates nothing. CultCache stages with the
process umask and offers no mode, so the store file is set after the rename.
