9f20d1be2a PythonWrittenStoreTests: the replaced-record test swaps the record's bytes in the file 
The py record is undeclared by LeafRecord (read-only), so a second cache cannot rewrite it.

e5736e49f3 CultCache: a write that copies a record it read holding an element id marks the store 
The single-file store records, per pull, which plain records decoded holding a non-empty
element id and at what version. A write whose copied record is still at that version
marks the header (v3). The record is positive-only and version-gated, so nothing a load
records can unmark a store. The directory store passes false: only C# writes it.

4282d507cf Caching tests: the wrong-catalog refusal is raised while the store is added, so both steps sit inside the asserted call 
Previous commit 122894f5 failed these four cases (AddBackingStore threw outside Assert.CatchAsync).

122894f5f8 Caching tests: the reference opens a Python-written typed-leaf store and refuses wrong type names 
Vectors py-store/*.cc are written only by cultcache-py (CULTCACHE_WRITE_VECTORS=1).
