Orphan images holding the pair's names are freed at the commit instead of forcing .001; a bake never repoints a slot Source shares through mesh data; the operator's execute is the only place a bake error becomes report text (Refusal marks the module's own fixed text, everything else goes to the console); the copied-material count is asserted.
