build() takes the hull's HullData.HullType, with no default; the add-on reads
it from the bound ship.cc. A Station or Turret lists no proportion check; every
hull keeps symmetry, length, budget and anchor checks and gains the grid check,
judged over zone meshes through hull_grid.grid_size.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
grid_size is rasterise's grid arithmetic without its MAX_CELLS refusal, so a
check can judge the bound; rasterise calls the same private filter and sizing.
ship_cc gains HULL_TYPE_SLOT (Key 25), HULL_TYPE_NAMES and read_hull_type;
ShipSchemaPinTests ties both to HullData.HullType and the HullType enum.

zh_key in ewanhart.scad's form, not AU's either-name match: a Pirate hull's own zone named like a Zhestokost
zone no longer receives Zhestokost geometry. Closes the gap in follow-up zhestokost-kit-donor-routing.

factions/zhestokost.scad is the bench draft byte for byte (battered masses, typed mates, five zones with cream
marking), its lang comment naming the maker element. The fixture is bench Oboz A plus Gun.D on T[2]'s deck
centreline aft of its hatches; the smoke's palette, shadow colour and turned-mount pair follow.

Muzzles aft of and beside their mounts pass every check, so a reintroduced
facing judgement fails a test.

The Blender scene cannot know which way a hardpoint points: HullData's
hardpoint rotation owns that (ruling aetheria-release:ruling:gun-facing-is-hulldata).
Deletes the forward list and its term in the muzzle check, the two facing
tests, and the smoke's nose-ward require. Pairing stays whole.

- ItemManager(uint seed, ...) refuses seed 0 and seeds Random from it.
- RunStart.ItemSeed(galaxy, step) is public (formula unchanged), refuses a
zero result; named steps ArenaStep, StageStep, ContinueStep and NoRunSeed.
- Continue seeds the item stream from the saved run's seed (ContinueStep);
a scene with no galaxy uses NoRunSeed.
- Zone's unpack scatter draws SimulationDice.For(CombatSeed, ScatterStream,
1-based pack ordinal), never the item stream.
- Loadout's scratch manager and AetherDb's catalog command take fixed seeds;
every test and Editor construction gains 1u (mechanical rewrite).

Soul s4 survivors: the zone test keyed on hull.scad, an edited-zones exclusion, the maker-None branch, a
collider counted as art, and the unbuilt refusal losing its exit text or becoming the agent state.

Deletes _art_takes_over and _refuse_wrong_maker's hull.scad branch. Her art over a hull.scad Build never ran now ships and retires the source (operator ruling art-over-unbuilt-hull-source-takes-over).

matrix_world is stale after a location edit until the depsgraph runs, so the
scene snapshot taken after moving Ship Root compared stale to fresh.

ShipSchemaPinTests reads each factions/*.scad maker literal against its Faction
record key in GameData/Aetheria.cc. test_ship_cc pins that Manufacturer keys are
not case folded and that a bare string product body is refused, not read as a
maker. hardpoint-sizes-prior-art.md no longer describes the deleted derivation.

_refuse_wrong_maker returned early when hull.scad was absent, so a built hull
packaged with any product once the file was deleted. It now keys on
aetheria.hull_maker; only art takeover (which retires both) and a package that
never held a built hull are exempt.
smoke_hull_source: ATTACKS lang literals gain the eighth (maker) element; new
refusal steps for hull.scad gone and for a right-maker plus a wrong-maker
product; a refused Package must leave the scene untouched (guard order).
Unrun at this commit.

Language files carry their Faction record key (eighth element of the lang echo);
Build records the maker it judged (aetheria.hull_maker); Package compares it with
ship_cc.product_makers before writing anything (ruling hull-faction-is-product-maker,
finding hull-names-its-own-faction). _art_takes_over is shared with _retire_hull_source.
Unit tests untested at this commit until the Yggdrasil run; bpy smokes not run.

One _refuse_shared_ids: a copy of the collider, an emitter, a radiator or a mount
selects the original and the copy and names a count, not an object
(follow-up hull-copy-refusals). smoke_hull_source covers it (not run: bpy smokes).

Remove _plan_mounts/_apply_mounts, _derived_position, CENTRELINE, hull_grid.cell_at,
mounted_position/mounted_cell and their tests (ruling remove-package-schematic-derivation).
Add Weapon makes a default-Position row; Mirror Mount mirrors each space within itself.
smoke_mounts rewritten (not run: bpy smokes are held off Starfire).

Agent-built hulls, first cut: per-faction form-language files, per-hull sources, Build From Hull Source (rulings hull-art-communicates-form, zhestokost-language-lore-text). Reports cut-agent-hull-source.h1, h2; Soul s1, s2 hold on the fixes (open: question who-names-a-hulls-faction, follow-up hull-copy-refusals). The branch touches only tools/blender, which master did not change since base d28ce42d.

hull_source.build reads the faction's and donor's language from factions/<faction>.scad run alone and only compares the
hull's own lang echo with it; a hull that reassigns, re-echoes or shadows a language fails a check.
Build records what it made on the collection by name and fingerprint instead of marking objects. A copy (another name) or an
edit (another fingerprint) is the author's: Build refuses and deletes nothing. Package retires hull.scad when render meshes
that are not Build's remain and no zone mesh of Build's does, so keeping Build's anchors and collider no longer blocks
takeover.
Unit tests cover the runner (arguments, exit status, OPENSCADPATH), non-string names, the width/length bound, own-zone
colours and the language ownership; the smoke pins world poses of mounts, emitters and emitter meshes (a mount turned 90
degrees included), the language attacks with the real OpenSCAD, copy and edit, Build after Package and the takeover.
Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
Build refuses a source that breaks its language or brief, and a collection holding render meshes it did not make;
it replaces only objects marked aetheria.hull_source and writes no layout row. Package deletes hull.scad, and says so,
once the collection holds art and none of Build's objects. OpenSCAD path is an add-on preference.

One language file per faction (Zhestokost, Rossum & Douglas, Pirate) owns the shape kit, proportions, symmetry rule and
palette; the Zhestokost palette follows the lore page (ruling zhestokost-language-lore-text). The two probe hulls are
ported as fixtures. Checks: zones, emitter and radiator meshes, donor, body proportions, top-view mirror overlap,
length, triangle budget, muzzles nose-ward. Fixture-text tests need no OpenSCAD.

BossOf refuses typed (BossRefusal Unset or Missing, Describe names the field and echoes no input).
ZoneGenerator builds the boss from the Loadout with ChooseProduct as the chooser; a refused or
unbuildable boss logs and spawns none. Galaxy picks boss factions through BossOf; AetherDb factions
prints the boss Loadout. Loadout vocabulary: no preset, no variant. Production builds; the tests
project does not until the next commit (RunGoalTests still sets BossHull).

A bin gets its line's design and maker, Bin = { Line, Floor }, and no roles or assembly. Resolve-then-write

Code from eureka/aetheria-release-faction-curated-place-names. Conflicts kept both sides: Faction holds Assembly (key 19) and Places (key 21); AetherDb dispatches assembly-from-maker, place-names and doctrine-catalog, and its usage names both; FlightTests counts the Faction wire at 22 slots (19 is Assembly, 21 is Places).
The two LFS files are the merge's resolution, replayed on the post-assembly bytes, never merged as text or by side.
GameData/Aetheria.cc, per h1's two-step replay: (1) AetherDb place-names apply built at the branch's commit 1 (740e1ee7, merged onto the assembly merge so key 19 survives), run on the post-assembly catalog: purges the Markov NameFile records while their type exists and authors 15 place lists; (2) place-names apply built at this merged tree, run on step 1's output: authors Miss Terri's list (1 list). Each step's second apply said nothing to do and left the bytes identical; the whole chain run twice from the assembly catalog gave bytes equal except the record write timestamps (masked, both hash alike). Decoded independently with cultcache-py: 16 factions, key 19 Assembly filled on the 15 makers (Ewan Hart has none), key 21 Places 20 names on all 16, key 9 nil on all, no namefile type among the 321 records.
Assets/Resources/Settings.asset: the post-assembly file (Rarity values removed) with the four NameGeneratorSettings lines removed (NameGeneratorSettings, MinLength 5, MaxLength 10, Order 3).

Real Australian place names, Indigenous-derived and English, in the old
Australia file's spirit; a draft Emily may replace. The test that pinned her as

The NameFile records went with commit 2's apply, so the type, Faction key 9
(left as a retired-key comment), NameGeneratorSettings and its parameter on
Galaxy and GalaxyStage, the Settings.asset block, the Name Tools editor
window, the Geonames resources, the purge leg of place-names and the
minor-power and Pirates commands' name-file lookups all go. The Pirates
missing-name-file test pins a retired rule and goes with it. Factions shows a
places count where the geonames column was. Unity compile owed at merge.

Each faction names the zones it owns from its own curated list (ruling
faction-curated-place-names): the home zone takes Places[0], the rest follow
in distance order, a spent or absent list falls back to unique catalogue
designations. Galaxy.NamePlaces replaces the Markov GenerateNames body. The
place-names command authors the 15-row table and, until commit 3, purges the
NameFile records and GeonameFile links while their type still exists.
The shipped catalog carries no Places yet (commit 2), so the tests that read
shipped lists fail at this commit.

The previous commit (30597b0e) wrote real line breaks inside two interpolated strings, so tools/AetherDb did not compile at it. Aetheria.Shared and the test project do not reference the tool.

Replaces h1's AssemblyMean/AssemblyDeviation floats with one Faction.Assembly (key 19, null = not authored) and adds FactionProductData.Assembly (key 6, null = its maker's). CreateLot(product) draws from product.Assembly, else the maker's, else AssemblyDistribution defaults; CreateLot(product, quality) mints the lot and every fill at a stated quality and draws nothing. assembly-from-maker now seeds part mean + .1 and writes only a null Assembly.
The shipped-catalog test is red until the catalog commit.
